3T Logistics pledges support for mental health through Lamp partnership

3T Logistics, a Leicestershire-based transport logistics and technology business, has formed a partnership with Lamp (Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project) to pledge support for raising awareness of mental health.

The 3T Social Committee organised for staff to participate in a Miles for Mental Health month, with 16 teams completing a total of 3,790 miles and raising £713.75 for Lamp (including gift aid). The winning team was ‘Fantastically Unfit Cool Kids Taking Heat In Summer’, followed by team ‘Cirque Du Sore Legs’ in second and ‘We Would Walk 500 Miles’ in third place.

Lamp also ran an online workshop for 3T staff on anxiety and mental health awareness.

Rianne Gayle, Office Manager at 3T said: “As a company, we recognise the importance of mental wellbeing and how positive an impact exercise can have on mental health, so we wanted to combine the two, and also grow internal relationships by mixing departments within the teams. Our partnership with Lamp has resulted in a valuable and fun challenge that got staff members engaged and quite competitive!

“Lamp also delivered a training course for our staff, focused on anxiety which was well timed as we are managing our staff’s return to the workplace following the pandemic and acknowledge the potential mental health impacts around that process.”
