Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire Visits Lamp!
As a small, local mental health charity based in Leicester, we are very appreciative of any support we receive. From notable figures, to members of the community, all forms of support alerts us to the array of individuals who find value in the work that we do.
This was made apparent to us on Friday, 31st August 2018, where Lamp had the pleasure of welcoming and interviewing the Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur to our offices.
We had the opportunity to converse with the Lord Lieutenant about topics such as, Lamp’s role in providing the much needed help, and support to those with mental health issues in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. The ways he believed that Lamp could continue to stay as a sustainable charity, who continues to provide services around mental health; in a climate where the longevity of charities is uncertain, and what are the Lord Lieutenant’s plans for Leicestershire in the future.
It was truly a pleasure having the lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur visit us, and we hope that he enjoyed the visit as much as we did.
