Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, and is one of the best hidden gems on the comedy circuit.

Finalist of the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as semi-finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards, Funny Women Regional finalist, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Podcast Award Nominee for Biggest Idiot, Lindsey has become one of the country’s must book acts.

Credits include Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out, BBC Radio 4’s Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, and she is soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live. Recently, Lindsey has been seen supporting Russell Kane and Joe Lycett on tour.

From The Palladium to Pakistan, a highly experienced, versatile & award winning comedian, Markus is one of stand-up’s most well travelled comedians, much in demand in the UK and all over the world, and one of the very first British Comics to have his own Netflix Special – Live in Amsterdam.

He has written and performed twelve Edinburgh Festival Solo shows, and toured Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Scandinavia and throughout Europe, The Middle East and Far East. He has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows both in the UK and abroad.

Co-Writer on Jayde Adams’s 2020 Amazon Prime Stand Up Special, ‘Serious Black Jumper’

He often incorporates visual artwork & animations in his comedy performances. He has created numerous 24 hour murals as part of the comedian Mark Watson’s 24 hr Comedy shows, raising thousands of pounds for Comic Relief.

Just recently, Markus collaborated with the Norwegian musician, Ole Maa, to produce animations for Ole’s live show, En Psychotic Handbok, which premiered in Oslo in 2020 and  toured Norway in 2021 and 2022.

After attending several Art Schools, and even managing to graduate from one, Markus became a Graffiti Artist, Muralist, Performance Poet and Glastonbury Festival Poetry Slam Champion. He can’t remember which year, he was fairly out of it. But it made him think being funny on stage might just work out! This path would eventually lead him to becoming an award winning Stand-Up Comedian and total Don.

SCOTT BENNETT

“Live Comedy’s Best Kept Secret” – Evening Standard

After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott is a stand-up comedian and writer whose star is most definitely on the rise. His last two shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival and has been named by Chortle as One To Watch for 2018 and 19. In 2023 he recorded his first Radio 4 special “Stuff” for  BBC Radio 4 and in the same year he supported Mickey Flanagan on tour including a 10,000 seat arena show in Nottingham.

In 2021 he recorded his debut for Live at the Apollo BBC1.

You will have heard him as a regular guest on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican. He also appeared on The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. In 2018, he also featured on the BBC One show, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe. He also features on the new Nationwide adverts, released in 2020 and 2021.

At the end of 2020, in the Comics Comic awards Scott was voted “Best Act” a prestigious award decided by comedians and promoters in the industry. Previous winners include, Mick Ferry, Zoe Lyons and Ian Stone.

In 2017 and 18 Scott supported his comedy hero, Rob Brydon on his National UK tour dates for his latest show I am Standing Up and was selected to do a support slots for Jason Manford and John Bishop. He also worked alongside Michael McIntyre as part of his work in progress shows at the Duchess Theatre in London with Keri Godliman, Russell Kane and Ed Gamble.
