Steve Boorman, Managing Director of Anthony James said: “Lamp is a leading organisation supporting those who are seeking help with their mental health. The charity wants to encourage you to get active to better your mental health and increase your wellbeing.
“Through raising money for Lamp, we can help fund the charity’s free, anonymous, and confidential helpline and online self-referral form, or support their advocate work. Our money will also help Lamp’s essential work in the community and fund their campaigns to spread awareness of mental health and its impact on peoples’ lives. The charity’s campaign encourages positive behavioural change and help seeking behaviour – it’s ok not to be ok.”
Matt Barton, Operations Officer at Lamp added: “We’re delighted that the team at Anthony James will be supporting us through their first AJ Ramblers Round Leicestershire walk. It’s particularly great that as a company, they have empathy with, and understanding of the cause. We wish them all the best of luck for their challenge.”
