The voice of Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland returns this June with Special Guest Speaker Tammy Gee.
Tammy is a Nutritional Therapist (DipION, mBANT, CNHC) on a mission to help women to transform their health with simple nutrition changes and supporting women make the simple steps to balanced hormone health, and full wellbeing.
Tammy began her peri-menopause from age of 37 and was totally lost by what her body was throwing at her. Health practitioners told her she was too young to have the symptoms she was having, and at that time the conversation around menopause just wasn’t happening, even if half of the population will go through it.
Having worked within the health & well-being industry for seven years Tammy wanted to get a deeper understanding of what was going on with her body, and how supporting her health through nutrition could support this fundamental life change, so she studied to become a nutritionist. Tammy was 40 when she began, and by the time she was qualified at the age of 44 her GP was telling her she was too young to be experiencing what she was experiencing!
