Mental Health First Aid

Lamp are please to now offer FAA (First Aid Awards) accredited qualification in First Aid for Mental Health. Due to Covid-19 all courses are delivered via Zoom or Teams and incorporate both taught sessions and self-study. The option for face to face sessions will be available once permitted inline with government guidance and either can be delivered based on the needs of your business.

Unlike with other providers, any profits Lamp make from sessions go directly back into charitable work, including helping to run our advocacy service. So not only do you help your organisation, you also help support us as a charity.

We can also provide independent supervision to your mental health first aiders to support them in dealing with theirs and their colleagues mental health.

The three levels we offer are:

Level 1 – Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health – Cost £100 per person

This is five hours in total (2 hours of online taught sessions and 3 hours of self-study (or 4 hours face to face -1/2 day)

Level 2 – First Aid for Mental Health – Cost £200 per person

This is 10 hours in total (3 hours of online taught sessions and 4 hours of self-study)

(or 7 hours face to face – 1 day)

Level 3 – Supervising First Aid for Mental Health – £300 per person

This is 10 hours in total (6 hours of online taught sessions and 8 hours of self-study)

(or 12 hours face to face – 2 days)

A 10% discount on these prices is available for groups of 10 or more (Level 1 and 2 courses) and a discount of 15% for the Level 3 course.
