Recognition Express to help Lamp with new fundraising drive
The Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project (Lamp) charity is set to benefit from funds raised in a new donation drive by Recognition Express Derby & North Leicestershire branch, a branded product specialist.
Recognition Express Derby & North Leicestershire is part of a nationwide franchise organisation established over 40 years ago. It will be exhibiting at the Derby Expo on 22 September at the Derby Conference Centre and as part of its fundraising drive, the company will hold a raffle where visitors will stand a chance of winning a specially curated mood gift box. Funds raised from the raffle will go to Lamp. It is just £3 to take part and the company will be collecting business cards to submit entries.
Visitors to the Derby Expo can drop by booth number SL09 where Recognition Express will showcase its products and services. The company will go on to attend the Leicester Business Expo on 29 November.
Matt Hopper, Recognition Express’ Managing Director said:
“Recognition Express is raising funds for Lamp because the charity’s cause resonates with us. We have been inspired by Lamp’s mission of navigating people through the complexities of mental health support and empowering them to rebuild their lives. It is evident that many people in our community are struggling following the lockdowns and the rising cost of living, with inflation making it tough on the finances for many families. Our fundraiser for Lamp is a way for Recognition Express to give something back to the communities we serve and I am delighted that the money we donate to Lamp will be spent on providing mental health advocacy support.”
Richard Kotulecki, Lamp’s CEO added:
“We are delighted that Recognition Express has chosen to fundraise for Lamp and we would like to thank them for their kindness and generosity. The funds raised will help us to extend our reach – through our Business Club, to serve companies in the wider East Midlands region, in Derby, Loughborough and Oakham.”
