Shehla takes on the Three Peaks for Lamp
Shehla Paul-Patel has set herself the challenge of completing the Three Peaks in 24 hours. Shehla is doing this to fundraise for Lamp and has raised a fantastic £780 already.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing up and down the highest mountains of England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon) in 24 hours. The total walking distance is 37 miles, the total ascent is 10.052 ft and the total driving distance is 462 miles.
After overcoming her own battle with depression, Shehla wanted to raise awareness of Lamp and its services. Initially, Shehla struggled to find the right help and support for her mental health but then she discovered Lamp.
“To know there is support available for all involved is so important. If you are unsure of where to turn, how you are feeling or simply concerned for a loved one, Lamp will guide you and you are not alone,” said Shehla.
Good luck and thank you to Shehla who will be completing her challenge on 24 July 2021. You can support her at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/shehla-paul-patel
