T-shirts do the talking for Lamp

During lockdown, Lamp has received an increase in calls and seen record online views due to the effects of the current crisis on local people’s mental wellbeing.

In conjunction with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, The Funk Academy has created ‘Talk’ t-shirts that will be sold to generate funds for Lamp. For each t-shirt sold, £3 will be donated to Lamp to increase awareness and help those whose lives are affected by mental illness.

Anyone who is experiencing mental health difficulties can self-refer to Lamp’s free service, at any time. Lamp advocates have specialist mental health knowledge specific to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
