#WorldMentalHealthDay: Thursday 10th October
World Mental Health Day is an important day for us as a mental health charity. So we were ecstatic to be able to celebrate this important day by wearing our pyjamas to work for our #LampPJDay, in solidarity with those experiencing a mental health issue.
Using this day to spread awareness of mental health within our local community was our aim. But we also wanted to do this using something that resonated with many, and pyjamas did this.
We were overjoyed with all of the local businesses that got involved, including Hinckley and Rugby Building Society, Dodds Solicitors, Hollingsworth Solicitors, Ranjit Thaliwal and to David Lloyd Narborough who allowed us to come in and hold a raffle to raise money for Lamp.
We’d like to express our thanks to everyone who wore their pyjamas in support of both mental health awareness, and Lamp! Your support as always is much appreciated.
